• 一、在线补修课程（Credit Recovery）以下简称为CR课程

1. 适合单科学期成绩未及格的学生且不提供给参加荣誉或AP课程的学生；
2. CR课程的补分规则：
   在校学习情况得分X 30% + 在线课程得分X 70% = 最终学期成绩 （在校学习情况得分由学校学科老师提供，体现学生的学习态度和努力程度）;
   *最终被替换的学期成绩不超过72/C-；
   注：对于因缺勤太多且课程不及格的学生，成功完成CR课程后可获得的最高学期成绩将是60%。

• 二、在线调修课程（Grade Improvement）以下简称GIP课程

1. 适合单科学期成绩在B及B以下的学生且不提供给参加荣誉或AP课程的学生；
2. GIP课程的提分规则：
   1）GIP课程分数在90及以上，学期成绩将提高10分；
   2）GIP课程分数在80至89分，学期成绩将提高5分；
   3）GIP课程分数在70至79分，学期成绩将提高3分；
   4）GIP课程分数低于70分，学期成绩不做变动。
   5）GIP课程完成后，学期成绩最高可提高至A
3. 特殊情况（如过度缺勤导致需要参加GIP课程）：
   1）学生如果在一个学期内有超过10次的缺课，将不能获得该课程的学分，必须参加GIP课程以补足所缺的课时（此时成绩将不做变动，只为补足课时,通过分数为GIP课程得分超过60分）；
   2）学生只能通过GIP课程恢复缺勤不超过15次的课程的学分；

• AP拓展课程
  

1. AP拓展课程适用于需要通过完成额外课业来证明自身学习能力并提升 AP 课程分数的学生。
2. AP 拓展课程提升后的最终学期成绩上限为A/93。

If it is found that you have re-registered for courses in which points have already been raised or made up, no further changes to the score will be made. Please be informed.

The Credit Recovery Program (CR)

• • 1. CR Course is suitable for students who have got F in the course and will not be offered for students enrolled in Honor or AP courses.
    2. Grading:
       Students will be graded on a percentage scale. The final SEMESTER grade is calculated using the formula below.
       Effort Grade X 30% + Online Course Grade X 70% = Final SEMESTER Grade
       *Effort grade is given by the student’s subject teacher from school demonstrating the student’s commitment to the course during the past semester.
       Final Semester grades cannot exceed 72/C-.
       For students who fail a course as a result of excessive truancy, the maximum completion score earned following the CR course will be 60%.

Grade Improvement Program (GIP)

• • 1. GIP Course is suitable for students who have got B or below in the course and will not be offered for students enrolled in Honor or AP courses.
    2. Grading:
       a. Grade of GIP course is 90 pts or higher, 10 pts will be added to the semester grade.
       b. Grade of GIP course is 80 to 89 pts, 5 pts will be added to the semester grade.
       c. Grade of GIP course is 70 to 79 pts, 3 pts will be added to the semester grade.
       d. Grade of GIP course below 70 pts, there will be no change in semester grades.
       e. The highest final grade students can get for GIP is A.
    3. Truancy Enrollment Requirements:
       a. Students who have more than 10 excused and unexcused absences for a class in a single semester will not earn credit for the course and must enroll in GIP to makeup the missed course hours. (If students who are enrolled in GIP due to excessive truancy may not improve their final grade in the course. GIP enrollment is only intended to make up the missed instructional hours and passing grade is 60%）
       b. Students may only recover credit through GIP for courses in which absences do not exceed 15.

AP Seminar

1. AP Seminar is suitable for students who for students who need to demonstrate their academic abilities and improve their AP course scores by completing additional lessons.
2. The highest final grade students can get for AP Seminar is A/93.
3. Grading:
   a. Grade of AP Seminar is 95 pts or higher, 10 pts will be added to the semester grade.
   b. Grade of AP Seminar is 90 to 94 pts, 8 pts will be added to the semester grade.
   c. Grade of AP Seminar is 85 to 89 pts, 6 pts will be added to the semester grade.
   d. Grade of AP Seminar is 80 to 84 pts, 4 pts will be added to the semester grade.
   e. Grade of AP Seminar below 80 pts, there will be no change in semester grades.
